Tax and Audit Assistance

As an added benefit to all PTS customers, we offer the option of Tax and Audit Assistance. We feel this added convenience offers “Peace of Mind” on returns prepared by a PTS preparer.

Below you can see all the benefits of this service:

• Up to 3 years of audit assistance available to you
• Representation by a CPA or EA in the event that your PTS prepared return receives an audit
• Satisfaction of knowing we stand behind every tax return prepared by an authorized PTS electronic filer.

Marketing…

Although our tax season is typically only a few months, it is imperative that our preparers understand the importance of year round marketing. We MUST get the word out about our tax service! All branches should be doing the following:

• Include “tax service” in your greeting when answering the phone
• Display your marketing materials in full view of your customers
• Three words: Word Of Mouth. Anytime you come in contact with customers, remember
to mention to them that you provide tax services.

Usually beginning in October through tax season, we begin stressing to our offices the importance of having customers commit to having their taxes prepared by PTS. To promote this, we provide all branches with commitment sheets. There are several selling tools that a lot of tax preparation offices offer, however we go far and beyond normal expectations. We allow you to offer a number of convenient selling options to your customers. PTS offers the following electronic filing options:

• Refund Anticipation Loans (Fast Refunds)*
• Bank Bonus Check*
• Direct Deposit
• Electronic Mail Check

* These two bank products do not require any out of pocket expenses

Our service is a year-round service. We provide you with training on the tax software as well as on the tax preparation process. We also provide you with technical support and customer support during tax season and throughout the year.
